Meet Justin!
Founder Justin Hoernschemeyer of Helpful Guidelines LLC focuses on bettering people’s lives by helping them through the journey out of survival mode and into a more peaceful, joy filled, life of increased success. With a decade in the events and mastermind industry, Justin has not only been through the trenches of addiction, car sales, and poverty, he has been surrounded by millions of dollars worth of insight.
Justin is constantly consuming additional content with books, podcasts, or any other knowledge material so that he can better help guide other’s journeys to increased success.
In the last 5 years Justin has ran a very successful labor pool that sharpened his relationship skills, tested his leadership, and pushed him far past the honeymoon phase of dealing with others. He has seen a thousand ways to both succeed and fail and his mission is to assist others navigate the complicated life-path that the world lays out for us.

Meet Mariah!
Co-Founder, Mariah Hoernschemeyer supports the vision of Helpful Guidelines LLC & Expand Workshop by refining the brand, giving the message further clarity and impact.
As a partner in the business and a coach to workshop participants, she serves as an objective and honest sounding board, scrupulously questioning and helping guide and strengthen the vision being communicated. As Justin’s spouse, she brings the same teamwork into the business as she does in their life. Her own lifelong passion for understanding people, supporting others, and fostering human connection fuels her work.
She also demonstrates how there are multiple routes to take in this life. Mariah grew up in an extremely intelligent environment. Her parents educated her and equip her with numerous tools that helped her shoot past peers and competition as an adult. She went the path of college education, acquiring a 4-year degree in Landscape Architecture. As she gained experience in the field, she started rapidly passing exams to gain board licensure, becoming a Landscape Architect, and enabling her to gain increased income and responsibility. With both an artist’s & an analytical mind, she fine tunes nearly every project that is ran through both Expand and Helpful Guidelines. She is a huge reason for the impact this page has and has provided immense perspective to Justin’s life so when he teaches, he incorporates lessons learned from Mariah along with her upbringing.
Mariah has such a love for others and it comes with a huge smile when doing it. Her energy is contagious and brings a positive light to Expand Workshop. Her path being less of an entrepreneur and more of a qualified employee who shifted laterally in her field until she found the team she likes to work with.
Thanks to her involvement, Expand Workshop can cover multiple angles utilized to approach a more joyful and successful life.
